Manipulating an opponent

Strategy

Hi Jeff and Alois

I have a little problem in my game.

Do you know if it is possible to force the opponent to play a specific stroke?

To be exact,I usually want my opponent to use a short or slow spinny topspin.

But many players do their best to avoid using ANY topspin or a long, powerful one.

Do you have any advice how to force them to make a slow attack?

Hi,

If you can get the ball low with a lot of backspin and with the second bounce just over their end line may be the best option.

Keep it in that same place and eventually they will make the slow topspin.
