Making a topspin serve

Hi Nikhil,

To make a topspin serve you need to brush over the ball or up the back of the ball to get it rotating forward.

It is the same with the penhold serve as with the shakehand grip.  If you want to get topspin with the pendulum serve hit the ball late in the swing when the bat is moving up in the swing. Or if you just want to do a fast topspin serve brush over the ball as fast as you can.  Get the ball to bounce close to you on your side and as deep on the table on the other side as possible.
