Strokes
Some people say always keep the racket in the same angle and the same stroke always but I see top players doing a topspin from under the table and then they make it so powerful and then they make it short a lot of different types so should I try to do the same or keep the same average speed and spinĀ
Hi Abdulrahman,
Once you have the basics right then you can adapt to the type of ball and the time that you have available to you.
This will change the swing for each ball that you play but the basics need to stay the same.
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
