Hi Dayton,

I will leave this one to others that have some experience with different long pimples.  Hopefully you find one that is suitable.

Dayton,I wonder why exactly you want longpips for attacking.

Can you be more specific about your playing style?

Since longpips are generally not an offensive rubber

Hi Dayton, you can use ox long pimple for attacking but remember it is not an offensive rubber. I play ox at BH and short pimple with sponge at FH. My BH set up and assist to my FH attacking. I sometimes attacked BH when the ball returning was high and it was very good to attack. Always attacking with longpips will make easier for the opponent to attack back to you. Using longpips to push, chop, block to the good placements and it requires to practice.

From my experience, after reading the description of longpips rubber and bat which are suitable to my style I choosed 2 brands and tried at least 3 months. I have been trained with my coach 2 times/ week and social play 3 times per week. I totally understand it very much and have been playing sine 4 years with the same bat too.

I see many players who tried many different rubbers, glue in the bat and had a few hits and said it was not suitable to them.

This is my opinion.
