Strokes
Hi there this is a silly question but recently I've noticed I lift my left leg when doing Backhand against Backspin. It'a becoming a bit of a problem since it leaves me off balance. Any suggestions? I find it really difficult to stop myself.
P.s. I only noticed this when looking back at a video of me doing multi-ball.
Hi Cameron,
During training you can focus on this. When the ball hits your racket, see where your balance is, on the left, right or in the middle. Try to have it in the middle at the point of contact. If you do this, you will keep that foot down.
The other thing you can do is get someone while you are hitting to place a stick on that foot that is lifting They only have to touch the foot to have awareness on it. Use a reasonably long stick so that they can stay out of the way of your stroke.
