Hi PingSkills coaches

I want to ask you, what is a lifetime of a one bat...how much time we can play with one bat? I read about your table tennis bats - PingSkills bats and they we can use 80 hours of play. Isn´t it too little time? I thought we can use a one bat for example 3-4 years... What will happen with that bat after 80 hours?

Thank you!

Hi Marian,

The 80 hours we are talking about is playing at a strong level and we are only talking about the rubber.  The actual blade can be used for many many years. I used my last one for 20 years.

If you are using the bat casually and look after it well it will last longer than 80 hours but that is a guide.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
