Hi Alois,

I am learning FH Topspin, and while topspinning the ball I am not able to stop the hand in front of my forehead. And also sometime while doing the topspin my FH goes much away from my body (especially when ball is away from the reach). Please suggest the techniques in practice to correct this. Would be great if you can explain in a video.

Thanks,

-Pallav

Hi Pallav,

It is important that during your training you just focus on this particular aspect of the stroke. Each shot you need to check where your bat is finishing.

If you are unsure of the technique take a look at the lesson we have on theĀ Forehand Topspin.

Forehand Flick

When your opponent plays a short ball to your forehand, you can play an attacking stroke by using the flick. This stroke is also known as the flip.
