Strokes
Hi alois . i watch the match kenta vs xu xin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_XeJT2-_iw . kenta do lot of sidespin block and one of those is forehand sidespin block . how to do forehand sidespin block .
Hi Yazid,
With the forehand sidespin block he brushes across the ball. He brushes from right to left so the ball swings away from Xu Xin’s forehand.
So you start with a normal block position and instead of going straight forward, you come across the ball from right to left on contact to get the brushing action and therefore adding the sidespin.
It is not a shot that is easy to do and not something that you should be focusing on implementing into your game too early, however, it is great to watch.
