HI Alois

Dib here again

I've been noticing that in my training time as my coaches are telling me to keep low and move around more that I've been lacking to keep up and am having trouble keeping my balance and get weak arms and legs. if I were to focus on building muscle so that I can keep up with training what parts of the body would you recommend and what workouts do you think will help ?

At this point I'm am really looking to improve fast I am still an amateur junior (about 950 ranking points)

Any advice on improving fast ?

Hi Dib,

The leg position is a big part of the game.  I am pleased that they are getting you to focus on this aspect.

You can do some simple squats to help to build the leg strength.  Doing more footwork exercises and staying in that lower position will also help you to develop the required strength.

Think about finding your opponent's weaker side and whether they prefer a faster ball coming towards them or a slower ball. Try different spins, speed and placement!
