Japanese pen grip bats advice required

I have an 11 year old son who plays pen grip with a Japanese style bat. At the moment he is playing with a Butterfly Bariba 91 bat. We replaced the original rubber with Sriver 1.5. He has pretty much worn this bat out and I'm wondering what the next step up would be? There doesn't seem to be anything between the cheap bats and quite expensive blades. He is the top boys U11 player in our club and intends to compete more next year. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Nikki

I think the main thing is to not choose anything too expensive.
