hi alois and jeff,
despite both waldner and persson being on the same category (legends) , about 70% of people consider waldner as a better player. i feel they are almost equal or that persson sometimes plays better... what is your opinon on this and why?

Hi Shripathi,
Walder's game is more spectacular. He is a master of the game. Persson is a great player but just doesn't have that same level of skill with the ball.
I think on numbers Waldner with 2 World singles titles and an Olympic singles Gold medal is better. Mind you Persson won a World singles title beating Waldner in the final, which automatically puts you in legend status.
