Rules
Hi Alois and Jeff,
I've recently seen your video about amazing tricks where you played holding a shoe. This reminded me of a video of Zhang jike where he returned ball with his shoe (worn shoe). If you are unaware then you'll find it on YouTube. Is that legal? And how can I perform it, if you can help me with video or conversation then I'll be obliged, thanks.
Regards,
Siddharth
Hi Siddharth,
This isn’t legal. Just a party trick. You have to use your bat or up to your wrist to hit the ball back, shoes are out.

Hi Alois,
Yes,I was in dilemma about holding the shoe but what about worn shoe? Zhang jike performed the foot shot which was worn. However he lifted his leg upon the table and returned the ball. Is that peculiar thing legal?

Siddharth
Hi Siddharth,
This is not legal either.

What if he had Tenergy 64s glued to his feet?

Only if he had wooden leg (At least 85% of the blade's thickness must be of natural wood....)
