Is dented rubber faulty?

I have just bought a Waldner Donic 600 today, and after a while of playing, I notice many dents on the rubber. Is my racket faulty?

Hmmm, it's hard to say Adam. Does it still seem to be performing normally?

You certainly wouldn't expect to see large dents in the rubber.
