Given the Covid 19 virus outbreak here in the UK and I'm self isolating, can you please recommend some drills for indoors. I don't have a TT table and would appreciate some tips.

Thanks

Hi Robert,

We always say that every table is a table tennis table.  You can do some bat ball skills for developing control but always think about using tables in the home to hit.  You can push one up against the wall and hit the ball against the wall or practice your serve as well.

We made a tutorial a while ago that might help. Practicing Alone.

All the best with your isolation.  I am also in isolation after returning from Europe!

Beating Defenders

Against defenders you've generally got a bit more time to make your attack and so you can be more selective on which ball to target. Think about finding your opponent's weaker side and whether they prefer a faster ball coming towards them or a slower ball. Try different spins, speed and placement!
