Hi, coach!

Is there any rating system which doesn't depent on number of participation to tournaments? In a club in our city, we need a rating system. But participants are not stable. Many players can't participate in each tournament. So we need a system where participation is not important. If there exists such system, can you give link or your own explanation?

Hi Ardak,

I don't think there is an ideal system. It always reflects the things that are important to the users.

I think a simple system is to utilise points for where you get to in a tournament. You could limit the number of tournaments that can be counted so that those that can't play a lot of tournaments aren't disadvantaged too much.
