How to use a bat with long pips on both sides?

I recently received a table tennis bat that has long pips on both sides of the bat, how can I use this bat effectively? Please help, thanks.

Hi,
A bat with long pimples on both sides is only used by a defensive player. If this is not the style that you are wanting to play, then I would recommend you get a different bat.
