Strategy
Hi Alois I had extreme difficulties in returning a spinny backhand sidespin flick after my serve.I will need your advice in how returning properly the backhand sidespin flick with my backhand.
Hi Jeremy,
I think the best way is to make a topspin. You need to allow for the sidespin but it also will feel like there is some backspin on the ball.
Make sure you move back after serving to give yourself some space and time to make the topspin.

Thank you for the advice. However most of the best players in my country do a backhand block to return a spinny backhand flick. Can you help me in how to return a backhand flick with a backhand block. Thanks
If the ball has topspin and sidespin then you can block it. You just need to allow for the sidespin by adjusting the angle of the bat. It will feel like it hasn’t got as much topspin because of the sidespin.
