I am holding it with just a thumb and all the other fingers on the handle I can't really play with anything else. I have decent spin but it's very difficult to slam and I'd like to become more advanced. Help???

Hi Colton,

Do you have the pointer finger on the rubber?  This is an important part of the grip.  It gives you a lot better control of the racket and feel as well.

It also give you stability of the grip so that it doesn't turn in your hand.
