Strokes
Hi Pingskills
How do I do a fake a forehand flick like what Ma long does and is very effective.
Hi Tri,
He uses his body to fake direction. He moves his body a little to the left and then hits the ball down the line using his wrist to change direction.
To fake whether he is going to push or flick you put your bat right under the ball going forward like you are going to do a push. Before contact you change the angle of your racket and move the bat up vertically.
The fake shot is very difficult and should only be done when you have a very good grasp on the basics of the push and flick.
