How to do a Pendulum and Reverse Pendulum serve?
Hi Vicky,
The basic thing is to start with your left leg touching the backhand corner of the table. So that will have you side on to the table.
Then start with your elbow up at shoulder height and use your forearm like a Pendulum. Allow your wrist to be relaxed and to swing through. You will get a lot of your speed and spin from the wrist.
For the Pendulum serve have the forehand side of your rubber facing away from you. For the Reverse Pendulum have it facing in towards you and finish with your bat facing the far net post.
It is difficult to describe it in words. We do have a Course on Serving Secrets which will help you. The DVD is also on sale at the moment so you can get that through our Store by going to the Table Tennis DVDs Runout Sale link.
