How can i get enough backspin to do the ma lin serve?

Hi Trey,
It is a matter of brushing under the ball and also not giving the ball too much forward momentum so that it quickly comes back towards you.

i iv tried a lot for the ma lin serve .!!
PLZ TIP what should i do or train to control my fw momentum...
Hi Harsh,
Try to get the fine contact away from the table on the floor to make sure you are getting the right contact on the ball. Then you can go onto the table and try the same.

but i try it away from the table but its the same ...sometimes it works and sometime it dosent!!what should i focus on'improving?or practice some sort drill?
Focus on the contact. It will take time to get it right all the time.

thank u so much for useful advice...wait but how to focus on the contact of the ball is there any exercise or warm up for getting a good contact on the ball or some kind of drilll..???srry i ask a lot a questions bt i rily wnt to learn the bewst style.....h
During the warm up start to track the ball as well as you can. Follow it all the way. Then you can do the contact away from the table to get the contact right.
