Just bought your super DVD set. Also watched your lesson clips. In a couple clips and on the serving DVD, your are doing some fast topspin serves deep in the table. You appear to be using a pendulum like motion. However, it is difficult to see exactly how you are touching the ball to create the speed. Is this something you can video or describe so I see exactly how to do it in slow motion?
Thanks
Hi Richard,
The main factor with increasing speed is to get a flatter more solid contact. By flatter I mean not brushing the ball as much. You should have the same speed of bat with both spin and fast serves. The only difference is the type of contact.
