I have been having problems in controlling a loop played by my opponent. When i defend it with a closed racked angle, the ball is controlled but it becomes easy for the opponent to hit the second ball. Is it true that loop can be controlled by hitting the ball at its side or just playing a side spin shot? So how to play against a heavy topspin?

Hi Dhaval,

Take a look at the Lesson on How to counter the Slow Spinny Topspin

Doing a sidespin shot is a lot more risky but it is possible.  It is not one that I would recommend until you are comfortable with the block.
