Hi. this is Tae-woong from South Korea.

Please understand me since my english is not good.

To be honest, I definitely don't understand how to cock my wrist when I topspin.

I have played table tennis without cocking my wrist for a year but now I crave to.

I saw the video of professional players' table tennis play and realized that most of them cock their wrist when they topspin.

Also, top players of my table tennis club emphasize cocking the wrist a lot.

Please teach me how to cock the wrist when topspin.

Hi Tae-woong,

When you are playing your topspin allow your wrist to be relaxed.  This will allow it to move through the full range of motion and at the end it will be up.

Take a look at the tutorial on the Advanced Forehand Topspin to show how this works.

You should not have the wrist up at the start of the stroke because then you will miss out on the movement during the stroke.
