Strokes
I'm just a beginner and I've been playing for 2 months. I kind of know how to smash but not yet a pro. Here is the question I wanted to ask you:- I know the position I should take before I smash but at what height should I smash the ball and not? Plz help me
...........Thanks in advance
Hi Adarsh,
I think a good rule is that if the ball is shoulder height or above you can think about smashing it. Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Smash. This may help you more.
When the ball is this high you can also still topspin it if you don't feel confident to smash.
When your opponent plays a short ball to your forehand, you can play an attacking stroke by using the flick. This stroke is also known as the flip.
