Strokes
Sir good coaches tell to hold the bat with thumb on one side and index finger on other side and other 3 fingers loosely on handle.....how firmly should be index finger and thumb be? how loosely should be other 3 fingers?
Hi Hrishikesh,
Keep the grip as light as you possibly can without losing grip of the racket. In our video on Get a Grip we do a demonstration of how tight to hold the bat.
Question actions
A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.
