Hi Alois,

I'm really trying to improve my game at the moment and I'm getting a lot of variation of different training. One thing that fustrates me a lot is hitting the edge of my racket multiple times during my backhand swing. When hitting the edge a lot my anger levels rise and I play bad in games and training how do I solve this?

Hi Dib,

It sounds like you are hitting the ball a little late or you have your racket turned over too much.

Try swinging a fraction earlier.

Or open up the angle of your racket when you are shining through.  That is, have the bat facing the net more.

The last thing is to focus on your frustration.  You already understand that the frustration makes you play worse.  Try to  accept the fact that you are going to make errors... everyone does... even the best players in the world.  The key is to maintain the consistent practice and focus.
