Strategy
Hello,
I’ve been recently wondering if I should open my game of a backspin ball more aggressive with some kicking effect and with a more forward motion or maybe slower and spinnier? Which one would be more difficult in most cases to block and harder for the opponent?
Hi Dariusz,
You definitely need both in a game situation. If you only have one then it is easier for your opponent to get used to the topspin and be able to counteract it.
If you have to pick one to start with I would go with the slower topspin to ensure you are getting the spin on the ball. Then you can increase speed by altering the contact.
