He Zhiwen serve help

Hi PingSkills! I'm a shakehander. When I try to serve like he zhiwen like you taught, the ball doesnt go long and fast at all...how can I fix that problem?

Hi Xariuz,

Firstly make sure you are modifying your grip by taking your 3 fingers away from the handle and putting them behind the handle.  This will allow you the freedom of the wrist that is required.

Next, you need to allow yourself to make mistakes by hitting the ball long.  I often tell players to really smash the ball on this serve.

You mean hit the ball not brush the ball?
