Hi Coach,

Ive been watching Hao Shuai vs Michael Maze WTTC 2005 and what impressed me was Hao Shuai his serve. He could get heavy backspin of a very small motion. Its like he is not even brushing the ball. Michael Maze pushed his serve into the net multiple times.

Here is a video of Hao Shuai training 3rd ball attack on a long push;

After watching this video I still dont get it so maybe you can see it?

Thanks

Hi Rob,

Rather than the amount of spin I think it is the deception between his sidespin topspin and his sidespin backspin serves.  He does a fake motion at the end of the action which makes it a little harder to tell which of these he is using.
