Strokes
Is it ok to change my grip from shakehand to penhold grip? I ask cause i have a difficulty in learning shakehand.
Hi Harsh,
If you really think that it will be better, then change. However in most cases it is more about training more and training better to improve. Major changes like this will set you back for a while.

Generally what I've seen is once you have been used to a certain play-style and you switch for fun you naturally feel like the new style is easier because " the grass is always greener on the other side " .Although once you start playing the new style more, you will notice that it is just as difficult as the older one. I don't mean to discourage people from trying out new styles ( I keep messing around with different styles for fun ) but if you are thinking about seriously switching from one style to another, take all factors into consideration before doing so.
Hi Abhiram,
Well said, a valuable lesson. This is something that happens with many things including grips, rubber and strokes. It is important to give these things a while to take full effect before making a decision.
