Serving
Dear Coach:
I was watching a video yesterday in which you were demonstrating how to execute the Ma Lin's Serve. It was a great advice to move away from the ball and practice that serve.
Whether the grip position to execute that serve remains the same just as we use for forehand counterhit, forehand loop etc for a player with handshake grip and also who is right handed.
I am going to practice Ma Lin's Serve. I know it will take me long time to master that serve.
Kindly give your valuable thoughts.
Thanks and Regards,
Ram
Hi Ram,
Thanks for the feedback. The grip changes for the serve if you are a shakehand player.
Release the three finger from around the handle and make a fist behind the handle.
It will take a while to perfect but the more you practice the better.
