glue bat together

this might sound a little silly but when gluing your bat together can you just use normal glue e.g like craft glue ect. if i did would it wreck the bat or affect the performance of it?

Hi Michael,
Not a silly question at all. I would stay with the conventional table tennis glues. Some of the other glues will stick, but when you try to take the rubber off to change it, they will stick too hard and wreck your blade.
Some of them will also effect the properties of the rubber.
