Hi!

I used to play quite seriously a couple of years back but due to some reasons,I had significantly reduced my playing time. But now,as a Freshman in college I want to play again.I can get some of the strokes, like the backhand topspin and the forehand topspin correctly but I am not very consistent at it.Also my footwork has grown really really bad.Could you please help me by advising me some exercises or a routine so that I can play Table Tennis again like I once used to?

Hi Sourav,

The key is to make sure your technique is correct first.  Follow the instructions we provide in our Strokes & Techniques section.  If you are doing the stroke correctly, the consistency will increase.

Then it is a matter of hitting the strokes repetitively and you will find your level will not only get back to where it was, but you will also be able to go further.
