Strokes
Dear Alois
hi this is mark here.i play table tennis for my school team and i have a problem in getting my backhand chop return flat can you help me
.
Hi Mark,
Try to get a finer brushing action on the contact. This will keep the ball lower. If you hit it flat with an open angle on your bat it will go high.
Give it a try and let me know if this helps.
Although this is a very simple lesson, the idea applies to every level of player. Developing control and keeping the ball on the table is the most important skill in Table Tennis.
