Hi sir!i have a problem with my penhold loop.i can smash and loop very fast only in shakehand but in penhold the ball is very slow.i do swing hard but still i dont get it fast.i have a problem with my angle of racket and followthrough.how should be the follow through and angle of the racket to hit the ball hard in penhold.

Hi Hari,

There is no difference between the principles of shakehand and penhold forehand.

The important part of getting more speed is to generate more racket speed.  You can also get the ball moving faster if you hit the ball flatter.  However hitting the ball flatter reduces your margin of error.

You should stay with one grip otherwise you are reducing your effective training time.

Thank you for the answer. Iam thinking of permanently changing to shakehand as i can get coaching and improve only in shakehand.
