Hi Alois,

Firstly let me thank you and Jeff for the excellent tips and video lessons. Without doubt, PingSkills is the best table tennis resource online. Keep up the good work.

My question is: while attempting the forehand topspin against a deep cut serve, should the wrist be supple or slightly locked?

Thanks

Hi Murtaza,

For the forehand topspin against backspin you can start by having a firm wrist.  As you develop confidence and control with the stroke you can relax it and you will get more spin and speed.
