Strokes
Hi, Alois
I must say, I will become the worst nightmare of my opponents, because, now I am starting to learn hitting with pimples, even to hit serves. I defend only when I have to, I want to be more an aggressive player with pimples. But, I have one thing on my forehand. You see, I have DHS Hurricane Neo 3 2,2 mm. I am trying to push, but, my forehand pushes are sometimes easy to attack. This is a tacky rubber, but, I don't understand how it doesn't create more spin. So, I want you to tell me how can I add more backspin on my forehand push, and where to place it, to make it more difficult to attack. Thanks
Hi Sasha,
To make it more difficult to attack you need to keep the ball low and short.
To get more spin, brush under the ball on contact. the brushing action will get the ball to rotate. It requires a lot of touch to be able to do this consistently. This will come with practicing the stroke repetitively.
