Strokes
hi alois nd jeff,
i can play a bh punch against almost any topspin but can u tell me anything about a forehand counterhit against topspin to put them out of position?
Hi Shripathi,
You can play a forehand block to a topspin ball. It is the same principle as the backhand block. Firstly take a look at the lesson on the Forehand Block that we have in our free lessons.
You can also take a look at the lesson we have on how to Counter A Spinny Topspin. This will give you some options to play against a topspin ball especially on the forehand side. This is an advanced lesson for those who have the basics right. Handle with care...
There are 3 basic areas to focus on when learning a stroke: 1) The position of your feet. 2) The starting position of your bat. 3) The finishing position of your bat. Of all these 3 elements the finish position is the most critical. Watch this video to find out why.
