Hi how are you nice to meet you ....

I am writing you from Mersin/Turkey.  I play table tennis twice or three times a week.  I love table tennis very much and I am a table tennis coach but I am at the first degree but during the  match how can I use forehand and backhand topspin very effectively. It is very difficult for me to get point from forhand and backhand topspin. I know it is advantage but during the match to use forehand and backhand topspin it is very difficult. How can I develop myself?  Thank you very much for everything and I am very glad to meet yor website.

Hi Yalcin,

Try to use the topspin whenever you can especially in matches that are easy.  Then start to use them in matches that are closer.

Remember to keep your technique that you use in practice.  It is really important to keep correct technique.  This is what will ensure the ball goes on the table.

The Finish Position

There are 3 basic areas to focus on when learning a stroke: 1) The position of your feet. 2) The starting position of your bat. 3) The finishing position of your bat. Of all these 3 elements the finish position is the most critical. Watch this video to find out why.
