hi coach, I want to know when doing the pendulum serve, do i only move my wrist, or my forearm? because when I use my forearm, my result is creating long serves that my oppenent can attack it easily and my serves seem to not have enaugh spin. and also, what do you think of the dhs h2 commercial(forehand),sriver el(backhand) and stiga offensive cr? iam going to change my blade this coming december, I change every year.

Hi Christian,

Firstly mainly use your wrist when doing the serve.  The forearm will follow through a little as well.

The serves going long are probably a result of hitting the ball too thick not because you are using your forearm too much.  Aim to contact the ball finer and the ball will go shorter.

That combination all sounds OK to me.

Try to use your wrist to dictate the majority of the spin and location of the ball for your serve. Not only is the wrist more efficient at creating spin than your forearm but it is more deceptive for your opponent. Use your forearm mostly to position ur wrist for the type of serve you're preparing for (pendulum, reverse pendulum).
There are a couple of players in my competition division who use a lot of their forearm to serve and from that movement I can tell what kind of spin the ball will have.
