Strokes
Hi Alois
I am a player with a fairly good basic strokes during training but I always have horribly bad basic strokes during match or random play. Now should I focus on match strategies first during match/random play with friend or just focus on my strokes and play as stable as I can. (Not letting tactics come in so that I can concentrate on strokes first)
Hi Yap,
Start to do a lot more random drills in training.
This will help you to start to react quicker to where the ball is and also switch quickly between forehand and backhand.

How about in a match because on every training session my school coach will force us to play matches and being a newcomer (I just entered the school, secondary one, this is what they call in singapore), almost all of my seniors are stronger than me. They will give me 3-5 points depending on their skill lvel and losers will need to do punishments like planking and running. I hate these things so how to beat them also what should I focus on (strategy or strokes)?
