Strokes
Hi There, I am having trouble playing the backhand and forehand flicks when trying to initiate an attack against what seem like gentle pushes. I try to flick, as your lessons shows, but the ball constantly goes into the net. Can you please help. Robert. LOVE YOUR WESITE.
Hi Robert,
If the ball is going into the net try opening the angle of your blade. Also check that you are hitting the ball at the top of the bounce. Make your stroke more of a forward movement. Flicks take a lot of good timing and practice to get right. Don't try to hit them too fast to start with. Just get the feel of getting them on the table and then go from there.
