Strokes
Hey guys,
Just curious but what are your favorite parts of the game? I lovto just meeting different people while playing.
On a more technical note, I started playing further back lately and I realized that when I try to play a topspin ball from way back that I really struggle with getting it back. It usually ends up going into the net. Any tips on this?
Thanks
Edison
Hi Edison,
The thing I love about Table Tennis is the endless things that you can explore with it. There is also always someone, somewhere in the world that can challenge you. It is such a huge World sport.
When you are away from the table try to have a bigger swing. Because you are further away you have more time to play this shot and you can also swing bigger to get teh ball up and over the net.

Once you've mastered the start and finish position of the forehand topspin, you can start to focus on finer details. In this video we talk about the position of your legs, weight transfer, varying the finish position, incorporating footwork, the use of your wrist, and the angle of your bat for the stroke.
