Strokes
Hi Alois and Pingskills
i want to know what make the difference between a fast spinny topspin or slow spinny topspin, the movement, the speed of forearm, the place where the ball contact the racket, the technique, the angle of the racket, etc?
My coach dominate totally the parable of his loop, when he wants does a slow spinny topspin, to ensure the point if the ball coming hard, or a fast spinny topspin to win definitely the point, and i want to know, what i have to dominate to do this?
Thanks
Hi Cristh,
To get a faster spinny topspin are:
Contact for fast topspin is thicker and flatter
Swing becomes more forward rather than upwards
The bat moves through faster from start to finish position of your swing.
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
