What kinds of exercise do you need before you play a match, tournament.

Hi Raaquib,

The main thing is to get your heart rate up.  You can do this with some jogging and side stepping.  Then you need to warm up the specific muscles that you use to play Table Tennis.  Think about the arm and waist and legs.

By visualising yourself playing Table Tennis, you can improve your skills without having to actually hit a ball. Of course you still need to practice actually playing the game but this can help you perfect your technique. Watch the master class for some ideas on how to do this.
