Equipment
Hello sir , I used to play with a cheap ready made racket of gki of 20$. Now , I've purchased xiom vega pro on FH and sriver on my BH on blade friendship 729 bomb . But changing my racket has improved my game a bit . I had expected my game to improve a lot and I'm playing with my new racket since last 6 months . So why my game has not improved a lot or changing racket affects game only a bit?
Hi Shivam,
It shows that equipment tis not a quick fix. Training and time on the table is much more important.

do you drive better with a ferrari? no, you have to take lessons.
Dieter Verhofstadt Posted 9 years ago
Well a Ferrari does drive a lot faster than an ordinary car if you step the accelerator. I think that people expect this kind of impact when they change equipment, that a bat, like a car, will do all the work while you can just sit back and relax. Stepping the accelerator is not a skill. Imparting speed and spin is.

you don't understand what I want to say????
Dieter Verhofstadt Posted 9 years ago
I know what you want to say: expecting to drive better because you have a Ferrari is a bad idea, just like expecting to play better with a top bat is a bad idea. And I agree with you, although I would not use an analogy when trying to make something clear, but that's my perspective.
Cheers!

you say the quality of the blade is not very important, but I suppose there a difference between trades like yasaka or butterfly than others cheaper
Alois Rosario from PingSkills Posted 9 years ago
There is some difference but not a great deal.
