I currently have a 2 star Donic and I have 1,770,000 rial (35$). Do you think I should get a better Stiga paddle or buy another Donic paddle.  I'm not planning on buying rubber for an old paddle yet because the grip isn't comfy for me.!! Prices are cheaper in Iran!!

The paddle has 60 speed, 60 spin, 75 control out of 100.

Also do you think I can play penhold grip on a normal paddle.

Also, also, what is better a fast serve or a spinny serve.

Thank you for your time and content, I started 7 months ago and I already have a killer serve.

Hi Salar,

Great to hear that you have improved a lot already.

Donic and Stiga both have a good range of pre-made rackets.

You can play penhold with a shakehand racket, especially if you are undecided which grip you want to use at this stage.

At the higher level spin serves are much more effective than a fast serve.  It is too difficult to serve fast enough to trouble a better player with speed on the serve but you can develop spin serves that you can build to a very high level.
