Serving
Hi
My friend is a good player .Although both of us have same bat and we use same serve but his serve is significantly more spinny than me .when he makes a service he is so relax ,Although I do all my best in serve but his serve is more efficiency than me!!!
I asked him and he said to me:I know where I'm hitting the ball!!!
Please describe it and help me…
Hi Pouyer,
Just work on the contact of the bat on the ball. It is one of the keys to generating spin.
Your friend has a relaxed swing on the serve which may allow him to get a better contact on the ball. You don't need a lot of power to generate the spin just a good thin, brushing contact first will work for you. Try away from the table to get the ball to spin back towards you on the floor. When you can do this you will be starting to get a proper contact on the ball for a spin serve. Then you can transfer this back to a serve on the table.
