Hi Coaches!

I played a long pimple player and I tryed to figure out what the effect is of a pure sidespin serve when returned (push motion) by long pimples?

Is there in that case any need to lift the ball a little bit? Or can I hit the ball flat on like it's a topspin ball?

Thx!

Hi Bertus,

You can hit straight through this ball.  It will go back with sidespin and a bit of wobble.

Thx Alois for the quick answer!

I did hit through the ball with a fairly open bat but the results were diffirent. I think that's due to my serve as it might had some under or topspin in it initialy. I'll stick to the basic no spin and backspin serves when playing pimples! :)
